Magic Snow

Anybody else have an Elf on the Shelf? We do. And while sometimes it’s fun to come up with silly things for the elf to do, half the time I don’t remember to move him until I’m already in bed or up in the middle of the night feeding Cali. Not as fun. And our elf isn’t so much into making messes & causing mischief…instead, he likes to bring things for us to do.

For example, last week he brought our graham cracker “gingerbread” house & all kinds of fun stuff to decorate it. This week he brought magic snow. Buddy almost lost it!

He loved playing with it (who am I kidding…my husband & I had fun with it too!), it smells great, and cleans up easily! Quick! Go whip up a batch for your kiddo!!

You will need:

2 cups baking soda
1/2 cup hair conditioner

That’s it! Pour your ingredients in a bowl…

Mix them up…

And build away!

Oliver (our elf) left us a snowman.

We also made a sweet snow fort!

It packs just like real snow, without the frozen fingers!

Clean up is a breeze. If you used a tablecloth like we did, just shake it out in the shower (conditioner & baking soda? This stuff was made for your shower.) The mixture even felt slightly soothing on my poor chapped hands while we played with it.

Good clean fun for all! Enjoy!
