Cake Mix Grinch Cookies

Let the Christmas cookie baking begin!

I’m starting off this holiday season with a super easy recipe. These cookies are festive, adorable, and downright delicious! Did I mention simple? Yep. I love cookie recipes that start with a cake mix.

Cake Mix Grinch Cookies (from inkatrinaskitchen.com)

1 box french vanilla cake mix
2 eggs (or 1 Tbls egg replacer mixed with 4 Tbls warm water)
1/2 cup canola oil
Green food coloring
Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Red icing

Mix together cake mix, eggs, & oil.

Add a couple drops green food coloring & blend well.

Roll into small balls (I fit 15 on a tray) and bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.

Dust with powdered sugar while still warm.

Pipe a small heart on each (for the Grinch’s heart…get it?)

And enjoy!
